Window Screen Cleaning

Window screens are not the most fun part of window cleaning. They’re dusty, they have dirt and debris stuck in their little holes. They can honestly present a window cleaning challenge. They can also be a lot of fun to clean if you use the right window cleaning equipment.

1.    Try taking them outside and cleaning them with a garden hose. Saved for a hot day, cleaning the windows can cool you off as well! Hose down both sides and leave in the sun to air dry.

2.    The hose attachment on a vacuum cleaner will get dirt out of all of the little holes and crevices.

Removing Stickers From Windows

There are many techniques available for removing stickers from windows, and everyone you ask will probably have their own favorite method. The best advice is to first try and scrape away as much of the sticker as you can with a razor blade. Once you removed as much of the sticker as possible, you will want to choose one of the many products you can use to remove the rest of the sticker.

Goo-Gone is a great product that you can buy from a drugstore or grocery store and rub away any sticker remains.  The household rubbing alcohol you probably have in your bathroom cabinet should also work just fine.

Window Cleaning Tips

There is no need of pointing the reasons why it is better to have clean windows no matter whether it is about your home or office. It’s obvious that in this way you are going to have better view, heat efficiency and of course your home will build for yourself more pleasant image in the eyes of your neighbors. But perhaps the most important reason for cleaning our windows is in the name of the good maintenance of the glass. Maybe it’s not so popular fact, but with the passing years the quality of the glass we use for our windows is degrading, because of the hard minerals and other contaminants which are ruining its structure.
